his session, we focused on the recent cyber-attack that targeted Patelco Credit Union in California as well as other significant cyber-attacks throughout history—a growing issue of critical importance within our industry. Roger Grimes, renowned cybersecurity expert, joined us to provide expert insights into current cybersecurity threats and shared his top 5 things organizations should be doing right now to prevent a ransomware attack.

In a recent news report, the potential dangers of AI misuse have been starkly illustrated by the wrongful framing of a principal as racist through the manipulation of his voice. This alarming incident underscores the urgent need for awareness and proactive measures to safeguard against AI-based harm, not only in the financial industry, but in all industries.
In this session of the CU Town Hall, we will focus on Open AI's introduction of GPT-4o and its specific applications in the finance industry. GPT-4o is the newest flagship model from OpenAI that provides GPT-4-level intelligence but is much faster and improves on its capabilities across text, voice, and vision. Discover how this advanced AI technology can revolutionize operations, improve customer service, and enhance decision-making processes within credit unions.
